Hey everyone, our annual Canoe Campout is just around the corner and we welcome all that are interested in learning more about scouting. Please be sure to join us and see what the excitement is all about!🌊 What: Troop 76 Canoe Campout🗓 When: Saturday, September 14 - Sunday, September 15, 2024📍 Where: Canoeing on the Farmington River from Rt 4 to Alsop Meadows; Camping at Town Forest Park, Simsbury💰 Cost: FREE for Cub Scouts and FriendsJoin us for our annual Troop 76 Canoe Campout! Friends and Cub Scouts are invited to experience the fun and adventure of Scouts. No prior involvement in scouting is required! 🛶Activities include paddling on the beautiful Farmington River, river clean-up, camping, fishing, games, a dutch oven dessert cook-off, and a campfire program. Food Drive Results: 1st Annual Can Wars 🎉Pack 76 and Troop 76 went head-to-head today to see who could collect the most for our local food banks, and the results are in! 📦🥫Pack 76 (with help from Troop 174) collected 127 non-perishable food items and $199.75 in monetary donations.Troop 76 collected 236 non-perishable food items and $185.49 in donations.That brings the grand totals to an impressive 363 food items and $385.24 in donations! 🙌All of this will go to our local food banks to support those in need. A huge thank you to the volunteers who made this happen and to everyone who contributed.
